Second Video
Reflection
For my second video I would have to say the only way I prepared differently was to make a "script" of things we were going to say so it was more organized. In my first video we just had like a rough idea of what we were going to say but this time we knew dead on what we were talking about. My partner this time was very nice and he was good and remembering the things he was going to say. I think its very important for partners to remember so you don't get lost. Some new things i learned was a basic conversation about a topic I really enjoy so if I ever talk to someone about this topic or something just similar I can for the most part understand and actually talk with them. I feel like this Is helpful because its not as basic and its good to have a conversation like that to get to know someone more. Some big struggles I have are forgetting things when I get to the actual filming part. I am pretty sure its the nerves but even if I know 100 percent what I am going to say I still blank sometimes. It makes me really upset because I don't want the teachers to think I am forgetting because I didn't practice. I am excited to become more comfortable with my conversations and videos. I am also excited to learn more words and phrases so I can maybe learn to put things together. I really like how my partner and I were on the same page and we knew what each other was saying and we were patient with each other. I think I would want to work with Griffin because he seems like a hard worker and even though his partner wasn't here even during the week most of the time, he still got though his video and I think that's great. I feel like me and him can really learn from each other and help each other out. I think we could talk about our hobbies and what they are. I feel like it would be interesting because we are different in many ways. Outside of school I can try to order my food in Spanish and try to have a small conversation with them. Sometimes i think about doing this but I don't know what to say so I just don't do it but I will try to change that.
