Project Description
This is my final product for the Look at Me Now project. For the look at me now project we had to make a paragraph or so about each or the topics we were given. These paragraphs had to be about things that have happened in our lives or just little parts about us.then we had to display it in a way that we would like and in my case I chose a poster.
My Paragraphs
Theme:
“Be the best you” I choose this because it is something I would like to live by but I struggle with it. I tend to not try my best and basically be the best me but I don’t because I am afraid to put my best effort into things. One day I will be living by this and I will be confident in myself and my work.
Conflict:
Right now my biggest conflict is myself because sometimes I stop myself from doing my best. I do it because I am afraid if to put my best into something to ultimately fail even though I was doing my best. I would like to overcome this by putting my worries of failing aside and starting to try my best.
Characterization:
The most important people in my life right now don’t even know that they are the most important people. Person number 1 has been in my life for a very long time and will always be there for me. Person number 2 (Hannah my best friend) taught me about a lot of things. She has always encouraged me to do my best and to push myself to be greater at things that I enjoy. Person number 3 is someone who just recently came into my life. This person has taught me a lot about myself and has helped me learn a lot of things. I look up to this person in many ways.Even all my best friends taught me alot also and I am glad that they are my friends. I am glad that all these people are in my life.
Protagonist:
The person who brings out the best in me is my mom. She always trusts me and I trust her. I do respect her trust even if I do break it sometimes. She helps me out a lot and makes sure I am alive. My mom gives me slurpees and good food and makes sure I stay alive.
Antagonist:
The person who brings out the worst in me is one of my friends because when we are together we kinda challenge each other and encourage each other whether it is good or bad. We have a lot of the same ideas most of the time. We tend to get each other into bad situations a lot.
Flashback:
Something I think a lot about is how I meet people that I currently know. I think about how they came into my life. I also think about what it would be like if I never met them and how different my life would be without them. I usually talk to some of my close friends about projects we had together before we really knew each other and what we thought about each other.
Irony:
Ever since about 8th grade I have noticed my eyesight has gotten worse. In 9th grade my teacher suggested getting glasses so I did. When I first got the glasses I noticed a huge change because I could see way better. After a while I noticed that everytime I took off my glasses everything started to look worse than before my glasses. I realized that since my glasses are for seeing the board(it’s far away)I didn’t take them off when I was writing(Close up)it made my vision worse. It got worse because I wore my glasses when I wasn't suppose to.
Symbolism:
In my room I have a mini KFC bucket that I made for a project a while ago. For this project we had to make objects that represent us and put them onto a mobile. This represents me because almost all my friends know I love chicken. Even when some of my close friends are trying to find me they call me chicken because they know I will answer.
Foreshadowing:
When I am older I want to work in the medical field. The medical field has to do a lot with helping people out. Something I do now is help some of my friends out with their homework or a problem they have. I think this will help in the future when I am helping people out as a doctor, nurse etc.

Reflection
My biggest succes was my final product because I think I did a good job on it overall and it looks nice. If I could go back and do this project again I would defiantly go more into depth on some of my paragraphs. My biggest challenge was trying to find something to write down for some of the topics such as irony because I didn't know what it was.
