Reflection
I am for the most part good with pronunciation when I really get to know a word. For the most part I feel like i’m good with the “silent” H’s and how some of the other letters are said in a different way than i’m use to. I would have to the the say the biggest challenge is remembering how to say certain things or even remembering them in general because it's very new and we are learning a lot at once. It’s also really hard to just see a word and know how to pronounce it because it can be tricky and if you don't ask someone or hear someone who knows the word say it then you might totally butcher it. Outside of school I don't really practice out loud because I don't want people to think it's weird so I usually just think in my head about how to say certain things in Spanish when I come upon things that remind me about it. It’s easy for me to do that because my mind wanders a lot and I get bored. Sometimes when i'm selling things for my mother on Facebook some people message me in Spanish and I make myself try to figure out how to answer them just to see if they even understand. Thanks to my partner Brendi for asking some questions when I forget them and giving me a look when it’s my turn so I know i'm suppose to be saying something right then.
